Petar Bashir

Petar Bashirs musical career started at an early age listening to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones records that his mother had. After seeing a Jimi Hendrix concert on tv he started to play the guitar. Shortly after that he bought my first guitar. He played blues, country and rock. Because of the blues Petar also started to play the harmonica. This subtle howling sound Represented for him the blues. He even played harmonica in a big band for some time. After that he played in different blues and rock bands, but also a hardcore band (A.agression), a heavy metal band (Saint Vitus Dance), a great funk band (Manu Funk Tura), and a Latin-Jazz group called Los Mulatos. Nowadays he is playing a wide variety of styles with The Pat Savage Band, but his heart always returns to the roots of music, the blues.... At one point Petars younger brother picked up the guitar so he switched to playing the bass. He is now playing in The Pat Savage Band full time and still likes it simple, driving and rough and ready but when the batteries are dead the blues will always be his recharger.

This boy jams hard as Milwaukee Steel!
